Here at the Grove we pride ourselves on providing a delicious, nutritious and stimulating diet for all our guests.  Each morning, afternoon and evening we love slipping into our Short Order Cook routine and preparing a wide variety of foods for our guests.

Kibble Based Dog Food Diets
Dog FoodWhile Kibble or dry dog food based diets are most common with our guests, even a Kibble meal can be spruced up !   Some guests prefer a small amount of Kefir or shredded Chub over their kibble or a dollup of wet food mixed with a little warm water and that dry dog food is suddenly abit more appealing!
  • Kefir is a fermented product similar to yogurt. How we make fresh Kefir on our Blog.

Dog FoodChub also known as "Dog Food Rolls" or "Meat Rolls" are a dry but soft pressed roll of food.  The most popular brands are Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance, Red Barn and Pet Botanics.  They are easily sliced up, shredded or cubed.  We like to shred some and mix with kibble for a nice unexpected flavor and treat for our guests.  We also frequently use cubed pieces as a reward for good behavior or just a cute look from our guests. We use all three of the above brands at various times, you are welcome to bring your dogs favorite and we will shred, cube or slice it up for him as instructed.

Raw Dog Food Diets
Raw Dog FoodSeveral of our clients feed a raw food diet, here at The Grove we feed and follow your instructions for what works best for your pet.  We also personnally feed our own pets a raw diet so we are comfortable with this method.  We request that raw feed diets are packaged in either ziplock bags or tupperware containers, one meal per packaging.  We will freeze and refridgerate packages, rotating them according to your feeding schedule.
