Pet First Aid and CPR Essentials Class - 4 hours

The Essentials class covers the following and is tailored for pet owners:

  • Skill: Primary Assessment
  • Skill: Restraining and Muzzling
  • Skill: Rescue Breathing
  • Skill: Canine & Feline CPR
  • Skill: Choking Management
  • Skill: Bleeding & Shock Management
  • Skill: Assessing the Pet's Vitals
  • Lecture: Insect Bites & Stings and Snakebite
  • Lecture: Heat & Cold Injuries
  • Lecture: Seizure
  • Materials: Each student receives a First Aid and CPR Instructional booklet and certification upon completion.

Pet Saver Class - 8 hours

The Pet Saver class covers the following and is tailored for pet professionals and pet owners:

  • First 4 hours is the Essential Pet First Aid and CPR listed above.
  • Skill: Snout to Tail Assessment. A deliberate and systematic assessment from the snout to the tail of the pet with intent and purpose looking for any injuries the pet does not present to you or for wellness to create a base-line of your client's health or personal dog's health.
  • Lecture: Senior Pet-izen Care. Senior dogs create a different care standard, signs and symptoms, risk factors to consider when working with Senior dogs.
  • Materials: Each student receives a First Aid and CPR Instructional booklet and certification upon completion.

Snout to Tail Assessment - 1 hour

The Snout to Tail Assessment covers the following and is tailored for pet professionals and pet owners:

  • Skill: Snout to Tail Assessment. A deliberate and systematic assessment from the snout to the tail of the pet with intent and purpose looking for any injuries the pet does not present to you or for wellness to create a base-line of your client's health or personal dog's health.
  • Skill: How to take and record your pet's vitals.

$30 Per Student

Tips for the Savvy Pet Owner covers the following and is tailored for pet professionals and pet owners:
